Bethenny Frankel's Ex-Husband Jason Hoppy Allegedly Harassing Star's Boyfriend Over Email

Closure can be a tricky thing.
You may recall that cutting ties between Bethenny Frankel and ex-husband Jason Hoppy seemed like a drawn out process (between court hearings, a custody battlestill living together and seeing Hoppy rocking that wedding band long after the relationship had ended), but it seemed to be all done and over with when each of the stars moved on with their lives.
Frankel began dating Big Apple banker Dennis Shields, who made headlines for still being legally married, and Hoppy was spotted on popular dating app Bumble. However, it seems that there is still some unresolved issues with these former flames.
E! News has learned that Hoppy has been allegedly harassing his ex and her new beau over email, and it's getting to the point where Shields may take legal action.According to TMZ, Shields' lawyer has sent Hoppy a letter accusing him of sending dozens of emails with "increasing frequency and hostility."

The report states that Hoppy has sent 49 emails in the last 70 days. His messages were actually sent to Frankel with Shields CC'd, and were all in the nature of slamming his ex-wife and saying that Shields is in a "revolving door of men" and that "he'll be gone soon."
When asked about the emails, a source tells E! News, "The article speaks for itself."

Over three years after the Real Housewives of New York City starfiled for divorce from Hoppy, the couple's marriage officially came to an end earlier this year.
"Out of respect for her privacy and the well-being of her daughter, Bethenny is declining to comment," the Bravo star's attorney told E! News at the time. "We can confirm that the divorce has been resolved. Our client is ecstatic that this long chapter is over, and she is looking forward to moving on with her life."
"Jason is thrilled that this chapter of his life is over; he is extremely pleased with the settlement that was reached," Jason's attorney added in a statement to People who first confirmed the news in July. "Jason looks forward to the future and enjoying that time privately with family, friends and most important to him, his daughter."
